Job search in the open and hidden job market, target employers, a complete application portfolio and speculative applications, plus preparation for interviews and selection procedures.

Job boards and application portals, documents for ATS systems, LinkedIn and XING profiles, digital outreach to employers, video interviews and the thoughtful use of AI tools.

Professional reorientation after a family or care phase, long service with one employer or job loss. Presenting experience in a marketable way, overcoming reservations and reactivating networks.

What is an AVGS?

The activation and placement voucher (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein, AVGS) is a voucher from the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter under Section 45 SGB III. It covers the full cost of an approved programme such as “Fit for your career”.

Who is the career coaching for?

For jobseekers who want to get back into work in a targeted way – for example after a longer period of unemployment, after a family or care phase, after many years with the same employer or when returning to work at 50 plus. Whether you receive a voucher is decided by your adviser at the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter.

How much does the coaching cost?

With an AVGS you pay nothing: the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter covers the costs, and your own contribution is €0. The initial consultation is also free and without obligation.

How long does the career coaching take?

That depends on the modules you choose: there are four modules with a total of 100 teaching units, which can be taken individually or in combination. You can take part part-time or full-time – we agree on your time commitment with you individually.

What happens before the coaching?

It starts with a free initial consultation. In it, we clarify your professional situation, take into account the guidance from the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter and select the right modules together.

How and where does my coaching take place?

Our coaching is very flexible and tailored to your needs. You can take part:

in person at one of our 100 locations
online, conveniently from home
in hybrid form, alternating between online and in-person coaching.
